Mudasir Majeed

Sopore, Nov 09: Javid Ahmed Dar, minister for Agriculture Production, RDD Panchayat Raj, Cooperative, and Election Departments, Saturday said that those who hinder development of Asia’s second largest fruit mandi in Sopore will be dealt with strictly.

Minister, during a visit to the mandi, as per the news agency — Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that the government is committed to addressing developmental gaps and supporting region’s agricultural businesses.

“This Mandi represents the entire valley, not just north Kashmir. Every person involved in the fruit business significantly contributes to the economy of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

He also said that the government is preparing a list, and no one, whether government official or anyone else, will be spared—(KNO)
