Kulgam, Dec 3: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was organised at Mondhole area of block Devsar in Kulgam district covering 3 Panchayats which includes, Banghall, Mondhole and Chandian Pajan.
Amidst the Yatra’s activities, participants were captivated by a recorded video message from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the profound significance of this campaign. This was followed by individuals affirming their commitment to holistic national development by taking the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge.
The Yatra is a significant step towards the direction of achievement of universal coverage of eligible people for scheme benefits, generation of schemes awareness by reaching out to the unreached.
The locals and students were upbeat and ensured overwhelming participation and engagement with the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra . They showcased colourful cultural performances to register their determined involvement.
Departments installed Stalls showcasing the department schemes. Medical camps were held on the occasion along with distribution functions of government handouts.
Naib Tehsildar Devsar, Shabir Ahmad briefed the participants on various beneficiary oriented schemes of their respective panchayats and highlighted government programmes and schemes especially PMJAY, JJM, Insurance and Social Security Schemes and other employment and welfare based schemes.
Block officers and officials from line departments, PRIs, students and locals participated in large numbers in Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes in aforesaid Panchayat.
