270 patients including women along with their children were examined in the camp and were provided free medicines
Kulgam, Jan 12: 46BN of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Friday organized a free medical camp under its Civic Action Program (CAP) at C/46 Coy at Akhran area of Kulgam District with an aim to provide quality medical care and free medicines to the poor and needy people of the area.
The camp inaugurated by Syamal Bhowmik, Commandant (CCD) CRPF 46 battalian Sadura, in the presence of DO PS Mirbazar, Toseer Khan, PRI’s including Sarpanchs other dignitaries of the civil society.
During the camp, besides free medical checkups and consultations, free medicines were distributed by CRPF to about 250-270 needy villagers of Akhran and it’s adjoining villages which include Nowgam Devsar, Ganie Pora, Katran, Hanjipora, Mirbazar and Nowpora
Syamal Bhowmik, Commandant (CCD) CRPF 46 battalian interacted with the local community and reiterated CRPF’s initiatives and he thanks to all local community.
The initiative drew positive response and was received well by the locals with the urge that CRPF to organize such camps in the future also
