Kulgam, July 3: Continuing its endeavour to reach out to people and to provide governance at their doorsteps, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today visited Chowgam area of Devsar, where he presided over a grievances redressal camp under Block Diwas, a weekly public outreach programme.
The programme witnessed overwhelming response of people from Chowgam, Khargund who apprised the DC about their issue and grievances for early redressal.
All the issues were listened to by the DC patiently, while some of the issues of immediate nature were redressed on the spot. Other issues and demands were noted for further action.
Others who were present in the grievance camp included ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri; ACD Kulgam, CMO, DDC Member Devsar Ishtiyaq Ahmad Ganie, Tehsildar, CPO, BDO, and other officers.
