Kulgam, July 5: In a significant development, the authorities in Kulgam district has identified land at Waltangoo for establishing main campus of Govt higher secondary school at Waltangoo.
An official told that on the direction of Deputy commissioner Kulgam, Athar Amir Khan, a team of revenue officials headed by Tehsildar Devsar Raqib Ahmad Ganie identified/demarcated land for the construction of main campus of Govt. Higher Secondary School Waltangoo.
He said that this was a long pending demand of Kund villagers as the higher secondary was facing space crunch for which students were suffering badly.
