Kulgam, Apr 4: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kulgam, Dr. Showkat Hussain Parray, on Saturday said that a free month-long eye care camp has commenced at Emergency Hospital Qazigund from April 1, aimed at providing specialized ophthalmic services to the public.
He said that specialist doctors from various hospitals have been deputed to the facility to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from eye-related ailments.
Parray urged residents of Kulgam district to avail the benefits of the camp, especially those experiencing vision problems.
He advised patients to carry their Golden Cards for registration and seamless access to services.
The camp is being conducted under the aegis of the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir and will continue till the end of April, offering services free of cost.
