Srinagar, Dec 16 (KNO): The parts of Kashmir including Gulmarg, a famous ski-resort, experienced fresh snowfall on Saturday bringing down the mercury across Jammu & Kashmir. However, the night temperature also recorded a slight improvement in central and northern districts of Kashmir while in south Kashmir; the night temperature recorded a further dip.

The Mughal Road was also closed for vehicular movement after the fresh snowfall today.

The fresh snowfall has, however, led to the dip in the maximum temperature across Jammu and Kashmir.

Nonetheless, the minimum temperature has improved further across Kashmir while Pahalgam, a famous tourist place, was coldest at minus 5.1 degree Celsius.

According to KNO, the sub-zero temperature has been recorded across all the stations while Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir shivered at minus 1.3 degree Celsius.
