
(Devsar), Kulgam, Oct 8: National Conference Candidate for Devsar assembly seat, Peerzada Feroze Ahmad Shah secured a victory in the Devsar constituency during the J&K assembly election, defeating People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Mohd Sartaj Mandi by over 840 votes.
According to the Election Commission, Shah received 18230 votes, winning by a margin of 840 votes over Madni, who garnered 17390.
While talking to reporters on the sideline of counting centre in Kulgam, Shah said, “I thank all those who supported me and voted for me and also those who criticized me or voted against me.”
“Will win hearts of Devsar people by ensuring the development of infrastructure in the Devsar constituency and initiatives for the well-being of its residents” he said.
