Says the remaining is likely to be restored by evening

Kulgam, Feb 1: As the overnight snowfall in valley parts mainly from Kulgam led to the snapping of power supply to maximum areas in the district, officials at Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) said that around 60 percent of the electricity in Kulgam district has been restored.
Talking to Voice of India Executive Engineer KPDCL Division Kulgam, Abdul Hamid Akhoon, said that “our men are at job for restoration of electricity and around 60 per cent electricity has been restored in Kulgam after snowfall led to disrupted power scenario across the district, adding that remaining is likely to be restored by the evening.
“Hopefully by tomorrow morning 100 per cent electricity will be restored in entire district”, he added.
