Qazigund, June 30: One person died and two others were injured on Sunday evening after a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge at B top road in lowermunda, Qazigund.
According to officials, three people were on board the car when the accident took place.
The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, The vehicle subsequently fell into a gorge at B Top. A rescue operation was immediately launched by Kulgam police led by incharge PP Jawhar tunnel Mohd Younus. But unfortunately One person died and two others were injured in the accident.
The deceased identified as Ummar Gull (25) son of Gull Mohd Bhat of Hiller Shahabad. While as injured persons indentifed as Adil Ahmad itoo (26) son of Mohd shafi too, 2.Majid ahmad ganie Son of Bashir ahmad Ganie all residents of Hiller shahbad.
Incharge Police Post Jawhar tunnel, Mohd Younus told that a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up.
