Anantnag, March 5: National Conference is strong enough to tackle any situation aimed at weakening the party. Its long history of sacrifices stands as a testimony to its commitment to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to the realization of a pro-people agenda under sincere leadership.

Senior NC leader and Vice District President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, during a day-long tour of Sarnal, Kadipora, and Anzvola villages, interacted with various public delegations and urged party workers to intensify their efforts in taking NC’s programmes to the grassroots level.

He emphasized the importance of gearing up for the upcoming Municipal and Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah also urged the administration to work in tandem with the public and ensure better civic amenities, along with humane and people-friendly handling in government offices and public darbars.

While condemning the recent Waqf Amendment Bill passed in Parliament, Shah stated that interference in religious matters is not only unconstitutional but also goes against the democratic fabric of the country.

He accused the BJP of diverting attention from developmental issues by adopting suppressive policies to crush minorities and conceal its failures. Shah reiterated that the National Conference strongly and unequivocally opposes this move.
