Qazigund, Oct 20: In a concerted effort to tackle traffic violations in Qazigund town, Traffic Police Kulgam, led by DySP Traffic Mohd Aslam conducted a joint special drive on Sunday.
During this operation, over two dozen challans were issued for offenses W / O Halmet, use of Mobile phone, over loading, Wrong Parking, wrong stop etc.
DySP traffic Kulgam told that they have issued two dozen challans against the traffic violators.
“Such drives will continue in future to curb menace of traffic violations and we have given a strong and strict message to all to avoid Traffic violations or face Strict action under Motor Vehicle Act, Many Passengers Vehicles / Other Bike Riders were also awared regarding Traffic Rules importance and how we can save precious Lives by abiding Traffic Rules”, he said.
